wide variety of restaurants from all over the world and catering to all budgets to satisfy
any hunger.

Enjoy the view at sunset from one of the many restaurants on the lake or stroll around
the lake path soaking up the atmosphere and people watching. Take a boat out to
spend some time relaxing on the lake and visit the famous Barahi Temple.

There are a number of sights steeped in religious history that are worthy of a visit while
you are in Pokhara. You can plan to incorporate a number of them into a full day of
sightseeing. Talk to your front desk about booking a car. Pokhara also has museums for
your interest: the International Mountain Museum; the Annapurna Butterfly Museum and
the Gorkha Memorial Museum.

Pony Ride
For the nature lover, Pokhara and the surrounding hills have much to offer. There are
many fabulous day hikes that can be done, particularly convenient from Sarangkot
Mountain Lodge with the forest on its doorstep. We can customize a bird and butterfly
watching tour with a resident naturalist and expert on the over 400 species of local birds
in the local forest. Another fun way of soaking up nature is on a pony ride, or for a more
active day out, you can take out bicycles and cycle along the ridge of Sarangkot. If you
are staying in Lakeside, we can organise your day trip including transportation, guide
and lunch.

Thrill seekers are in the right place as Pokhara has a number of fun-filled activities for
the strong of heart. Fly high above Lakeside and the nearby mountains to experience
breathtaking views of Annapurna, either paragliding or on an ultralight flight. Jump into
the unknown and fly through the air on a zipline from Sarangkot down to the bottom of
the valley below, the world’s steepest zipline and one of the longest at nearly 2 kms.
There’s also bungee jumping for another adrenaline rush.
