With an elevation of 1600m (5250 ft), at Sarangkot Mountain Lodge, every luxurious room offers stunning views of the glorious Annapurna mountain range. Enjoy the clean crisp mountain air at sunrise from your private balcony while you sit in peace and soak up the majestic beauty of the Himalayas.

      From the hilltop of Sarangkot, on a clear day, a magnificent sight unfolds at dawn. The impressive Annapurna mountain range changes color from red, pink to golden yellow, as the rays of the rising sun reflect off the snow. It is a wondrous and humbling vista to behold.

      Around Sarangkot Mountain Lodge, you can quickly be immersed in the wondrous nature of the surrounding forest hills. There are fabulous day hikes where you can explore the bountiful nature around, see birds and butterflies and see local village life.

      • On the footsteps of History

        One of the many day hikes accessible from Sarangkot Mountain Lodge, a visit to historical Kaskikot (178o m), the ruins of the old palace from the Shah dynasty can still be seen in the village.

      • Adrenaline Rush

        Next door to the hotel itself, Zipflyer Nepal is one of the longest and steepest zip lines in Asia. Fly 1850 meters down to Hemja with a vertical drop of over 600 meters for the ultimate thrill of the mountains.

        The community forest is a few minutes away and a wonderful place for bird watching. Our local and knowledgeable guides can share all the wonders of the forest on a relaxing half day walking tour.

        This day hike to Australian Camp (2055 m)is one of the best ways to have a taste of both Trek and Mountain view without having to venture far.

          Getting here

          The Sarangkot Mountain Lodge is accessible by:

          • From Lakeside Pokhara, by road, a pleasant 30 minute drive winding up the mountain.
          • On the Annapurna Cable Car which take about 10 mins from Sedi to Sarangkot. Our van can pick you up at the top by arrangement.
          • By daily flight from Kathmandu, Chitwan or Bhairahawa to Pokhara International Airport. The Lodge is located 15 km from the airport and driving time is about 30- 40 mins.
          • By private vehicle from Kathmandu (210km one way) or Chitwan (135 km one way) or Lumbini (221 km one way).
          • By chartered helicopter which can land directly at hotel.
