Sundowner

The afternoon river safari brings you to the confluence of the Rapti and Narayani rivers to a picturesque spot on the riverbank. On a clear day, the view is spectacular with the sun setting over the jungle, illuminating the hills and mountains beyond to the north. We offer hot snacks, cooked by our live kitchen set up on the bank. Sit back and savour the experience with a drink and soak up this magic hour moment.

Cultural Dance

Every night we present an outdoor dance performance for our guests. Performances are from local ethnic groups, alternating nightly between the Tharu and Kumal communities.

Bush Dinner

One of the most magical outdoor dining experiences, our Bush Dinner is presented in a quiet and secluded clearing surrounded by trees and lit by scores of lanterns. A truly romantic experience for couples or an atmospheric and peaceful gathering of any size. Each group has a private bonfire and a sumptuous multi- course meal is served by our attentive staff. Listen to the sounds of the jungle by night while you enjoy your dinner surrounded by nature.

Riverside Picnic

A picnic on the bank of the river is another experience worth cherishing. We drive to the spot for an outdoor picnic with hot lunch cooked on the spot. A canopy with bed is set up for those who would like some rest plus protection from sun.

Rangasala Dinner

Another memorable outdoor dining experience, the Rangshala Dinner is a private affair. You and your partner or group are served a delicious multi-course meal cooked on the spot in our outdoor kitchen. The whole area is lit up with lanterns and a bonfire roars at your feet as you are served an array of hot snacks before adjourning to the table for the main course. This offers a truly special and intimate experience.

Pool Side Dinner

From our pool area you can look out over the river to the jungle beyond. For another al fresco dining opportunity, we can arrange for you to dine pool side while you enjoy the view and our excellent dinner service.

Spa

Come to our lovely spa in Chitwan to have a massage after a busy day in the jungle or a relaxing day by the pool. Our professional therapists are at hand to offer muscular relief from aches and pains and to make you feel pampered. Take a Chitwan luxury wellness retreat and experience a rejuvenating holiday. We offer a wide variety of massage and beauty treatments and have a Jacuzzi bath on site for a therapeutic soak.

For a destination wedding in Chitwan National Park, our sprawling and lush property is the perfect location for weddings of various sizes. We can create a special wedding program tailored to fulfil your every desire utilising various beautiful and picture perfect areas of the hotel for your memorable day.

Stone Paved Pool

Enjoy relaxing by the pool in the heat of summer. With plenty of places to sit or lounge and waiter service available, you can have a snack or a cocktail in between dips, while looking out across the Rapti river to the National Park.

Banyan Cafe

Our main dining area is located in our central building. Our extensive breakfast buffet is served here every morning and we have a varied choice of Continental, Nepali and Indian cuisines available on our a la carte menu.

Tiger Den

Our full bar is located poolside offering a wide selection of imported liquors. Open until midnight, enjoy a drink in the moonlight while listening to the sounds of the jungle.

Turtle Deck

Our verandah stretches across the outdoor area overlooking the pool. Enjoy the comfortable seating and order drinks and snacks as you relax. This is also one of the few dedicated smoking areas.

Fig Tree Library

A peaceful and comfortable lounge area, our library has books for guests perusal and enjoyment. Or just offers an opportunity to relax in peace. You can order tea or coffee and enjoy a cosy moment curled up with a good book.

Kapok Tree

A multi-purpose hall, the Kapok Tree room can be used for conferences or events for up to 75 people. Audio visual equipment is available for presentations or video screenings. We can also arrange a presentation about the National Park for groups on request.

Recreation Park

Our sports area offers a badminton court and a basketball hoop for those wanting a good work out. Sports lovers can request rackets and balls at the main desk. We also have bicycles available to ride around the lodge or explore the local village.

Souvenir Shop

Our souvenir shop is located adjacent to the spa. We have a wide selection of locally made handicrafts and 5% of all sales go back to the local community.
