ROOMS & SUITES

Accommodation throughout our resort comprises of thatched huts dotted along the banks of the Rapti river and a few nestled in the jungle for an even more secluded and private experience. We have a magnificent suite and 34 Deluxe rooms – 6 are paired in interconnecting huts for families or groups. All rooms have private balconies.

Presidential Suite

We are proud to present our Presidential Suite, which offers everything you and your family might need for the utmost in comfort, luxury and convenience. Elegantly decorated in stone, tile, bamboo and wood for a natural yet stylish ambience. There are two bedrooms, one master and one twin room and a separate living room with dining area, all with access to the deck and private pool outside. The extensive private outdoor area overlooks the river and the national park opposite and features a BBQ, fire pit and outdoor dining area and pool deck with loungers. The master bathroom boasts an enormous bathtub as well as walk in shower. A stay in our sumptuous suite room in Chitwan also includes butler service.

Deluxe Boutique Huts

Our Deluxe Rooms are thatched roof huts with private balconies offering either river view with the park opposite or jungle view for a more quiet and secluded experience. Our rooms near Chitwan National Park are decorated with natural materials, all locally sourced and feature wildlife art and sculptures. Bathrooms are beautifully mosaic tiled with 10 rooms featuring hand-crafted bathtubs and the others, walk-in cubicle showers.

An Eco-Friendly Hotel in Chitwan National Park

When we started to build Barahi Jungle Lodge in 2012, we planted over 5,000 trees across the 12 hectares of land, which, at that time, was barren grassland. Since then, we’ve continued to plant more trees every year creating the lush jungle forest that encompasses our sprawling resort today. We remain committed to our vision of cultivating a sustainable luxury resort in Chitwan National Park.

    Our extensive pool area has lots of areas to lounge or grab a poolside bite. Our uniquely shaped stone paved pool is one of the few hotels in Chitwan with a swimming pool which has a shallow area for kids. Escape the heat, relax and enjoy a dip with views over the Rapti river and the Chitwan National Park beyond.

    Excellent service and hotel with a jungle vibe

    Barahi Jungle is a place like no other Decor is in line with the jungle vibe, feels like you’re staying at Fred Flintstone’s house but with a luxury twist. The room is clean and tidy with hot water & a huge bath tub, no problems here. Private balcony has a fantastic view – managed to spot a deer! I’d highly recommend!!

Almost all of our staff (about 97%) are from nearby villages and are trained to a high standard of service.       The Barahi Jungle Lodge is accessible by:

      • Daily flight from Kathmandu and Pokhara. The closest airport is Bharatpur 32 km from the Lodge. Driving time from airport to the lodge is about an hour.
      • By private vehicle from Kathmandu, (178 km one way)Pokhara (158 km one way)and Lumbini (202 km one way).
      • By chartered helicopter which can land directly at the hotel. The hotel has 2 helipads and can accommodate upto 2 helicopters at a time.
